The Manyara Ranch Management Trust (MRMT) is a board of trustees registered in Tanzania under the Trustees Incorporation Act CAP 318 R.E 2002. The board was formed by the Monduli District Council (MDC), which is the rightful owner of the property, holding the Right of Occupancy under title numbers 15733 and 15734. 

The MDC has granted MRMT the authority to manage the ranch as a multi-use wildlife and livestock property, overseeing its day-to-day operations. The ranch’s stated objective is to provide benefits to the villages of Esilalei and Oltukai. 

The MRMT board consists of representatives from the Monduli District Council, the Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA), two representatives from the local community of Esilalei, two local members from Oltukai, and the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF).
