We Foster Conservation Education and Awareness Amoung Youth.
Bridging the gap between education and conservation, the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) funded the relocation of Manyara Ranch Primary School from the interior of the ranch to its periphery. This move ensures the safety of the people and provides easier access to social services such as hospitals and public transport, while also minimizing disturbances to wildlife and keeping migration routes clear.
The construction of modern classrooms, dormitories, staff housing, and a reliable water source has significantly improved the quality of life and education for the children at Manyara Ranch Primary School, giving them a fair chance to compete with schools in urban areas.
By providing these children with quality education, we are thrilled to see many grow into successful individuals who contribute to the wildlife and biodiversity economy within their communities and beyond, ensuring a stronger future for Africa’s children and its wildlife.
